Mokerzecki Named MASCAC Media Relations Director

Baumann recently announced the hiring of Justin
Mokerzecki as MASCAC Media Relations Director.
Mokerzecki, who has served as Elms College's first-ever, full-time Sports Information Director since September 2002, brings a combined eight years of professional communications experience to his current position with the MASCAC.
With the MASCAC, Mokerzecki will assist in promoting each of the conference's 13 sponsored sports, and also serve as the MASCAC's primary statistician and communications contact to both the NCAA and all national media.
"We are very excited to have Justin as a member of the MASCAC Team," MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "He brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the MASCAC Media Relations Position."
From 2001-2002, Mokerzecki served Springfield College's marketing department as a website consultant and also assisted the sports communications department in coordinating athletic archive research.
From 1998-2000, he worked as a sports writer, and later sports
editor for the Westfield (MA) Evening News, and has also worked as
a freelance sports writer for the Springfield Republican. In 1998,
he completed an internship in public relations for Baystate Health
Systems.
Mokerzecki earned a bachelor's degree from Springfield College in
1999, where he majored in English with a concentration in
journalism and a minor in history.
