WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The four nominees from Week 8 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week! Voting is open until Wednesday at noon. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Bridgewater StateAlex McLaughlin grabs the hand off from Danny Higgins then cuts to the left before hitting a wall of Westfield State defenders then shooting right then sprinting downfield for the 48 yard touchdown. |
Play No. 2 - Mass. MaritimeMass. Maritime's Jonathan Furtado blocks the punt which is then knocked around before being picked up by Brendan Smith and ran through UMD defenders 44 yards for the touchdown. |

Play No. 3 - UMass DartmouthEddie Sheridan snags the hand off from Cory Burnham then bursts through the Mass. Maritime defense to break free before diving it in for the 47 yard touchdown run. |
Play No. 4 - Westfield StateWestfield State quarterback Erik Washburn rolls right out of the pocket to get away from the defense then lobs it downfield to Colin Smith who eludes two Bridgewater State defenders to take it in for the 55 yard score. |
