Framingham, Mass. - Framingham State junior midfielder Scott Faria (Fall River, Mass.) has been named to the 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men's Soccer All-Star first team. Faria receives ECAC honors for the first time in his career. Faria, who has received All-MASCAC accolades in each of his three seasons, led the Rams in scoring this year with nine goals and six assists for 24 points. Faria scored three game winning goals as the Rams finished the 2009 campaign 8-9-2 overall (5-1-1 in conference) and were eliminated in the opening round of the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's soccer tournament.
