MASCAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT SEEDINGS ANNOUNCED

WESTFIELD, MA, Oct. 27, 2007 - The Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced its women's volleyball tournament pairings on Friday night and Westfield State has earned the top seed.

Both the conference tournament semifinal and championship matches are set for Saturday, November 3 at Westfield State.

The No. 1 Owls (14-14) host No. 4 Worcester State (10-20) at 11:00 a.m., with No. 2 Bridgewater State (15-18) and No. 3 Framingham State (18-15) slated to meet in the day's second semifinal at 1:00 p.m.

The winners then advance to the conference tournament title game at 3:00 p.m.

The winner of next Saturday's championship match receives the MASCAC's automatic qualifier into the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship.
