Anna Maria's Hennessey, Fitchburg State's Halbig Earn NEHWA All-Star Honors, AMCATS' McCauley Named Coach of the Year

Junior goaltender Matt Hennessey was named the MASCAC Player of the Year after a dominant season between the pipes. Hennessey started 23 games, posting a 17-3-2 record while recording an outstanding 1.83 goals-against average and .945 save percentage across more than 1,380 minutes in net. His performance was instrumental in guiding Anna Maria through conference play and into the postseason.
Head coach Dave McCauley was named MASCAC Coach of the Year after leading the AMCATS to a 20-5-2 overall record and a 12-1-1 mark in conference play. In just the program's second season competing in the MASCAC, McCauley helped guide Anna Maria to a historic campaign. The AMCATS were particularly dominant on home ice this season, finishing undefeated at home with a 12-0-2 record, setting a new program record for wins with 20.
Halbig earned his second post-season honor after registering 28 points on two goals and a team-best 26 assists as well as one power-play marker over 26 contests for the Green and Gold. For his efforts, Christian was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Defensive Player of the Year as well as being selected to MASCAC All-Conference first team.
