Michael Ferrara Hit safely in every game for the Lancers this week, as they went 5-0 to finish its Florida Spring Break trip 6-2. Ferrara also scored at least one run in every game, and had a run batted in in four of five. He finished the week batting .500, with three doubles, a home run, eight runs scored, eight RBI and a stolen base. |

Bobby New Tossed a five hit, seven inning shutout in MCLA’s 3-0 win over Purchase. Struck out ten batters and walked just one. |

Ruben Gonzalez Batted .550 (11-20) with two doubles, three walks, three stolen bases, seven runs scored and two RBI in five games for the Bears last week at the Snowbird Baseball Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla. Posted a .583 on-base percentage and a .650 slugging percentage. Went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a 6-2 setback to No. 1 ranked College of Wooster and was 4-for-5 at the plate with a sacrifice fly, a stolen base, three runs an an RBI in an 8-7 victory in 12 innings over No. 23 La Roche College. |
