MASCAC Football Play of the Week - Week 1

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite. 

The four nominees from Week 1 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week! Voting is open until Wednesday at noon. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.

Play No. 1 - Bridgewater State

Play No. 2 - Framingham State 

Framingham State's Matt Mangano grabs a tip off the fingers of his teammate and runs the interception in 71 yards to give the Rams their first score in the first quarter.

 
     

Play No. 3 - Plymouth State 

Plymouth State's Rob Giles drains a 25 field goal in the rain with less than a minute remaining in the fourth to send the game into overtime against Castleton State.

 

Play No. 4 - Westfield State 

Westfield State's Mike Mercadante takes it in 50 yards to put the Owls up 23-22 at the end of the third quarter against Nichols.
