    UMass Dartmouth junior quarterback Stephen Gacioch has been named as the recipient of the first New England Football Writers Division II/III Gold Helmet Award of the 2019 season presented by the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation, as he was honored for his record-setting performance in last Saturday’s season-opening 54-7 victory over Alfred State at Cressy Field.

  • Framingham State's Maher Selected D3football.com Preseason All-American Second Team

    Senior tight end Jacob Maher has been selected to the 2019 D3football.com Preseason All-American Second Team Offense. Maher, who was a 2018 D3football.com third team All-American, transferred to Framingham State this fall after competing for three seasons at Worcester State where he was a two time New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England selection. Maher is a two time All-MASCAC selection with 113 career receptions for 1704 yards with 23 touchdowns in 31 games for the Lancers.
