WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 10 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Thursday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Framingham StateFramingham State RB Devaun Ford takes the handoff and sidesteps one defender before heading towards the endzone where he breaks free from not one, not two but three defenders before crossing the plain into the endzone for the 12 yard score in the Rams' regular season champion clinching win. |
Play No. 2 - Plymouth StatePlymouth State QB Brett Lavanchy gets forced out of the pocket and while under pressure sails a pass to Brian McGough who makes the leaping catch along the sideline only to avoid the defender and outrace the pursuing defense for the 59 yard touchdown catch in the Panthers' victory. |

Play No. 3 - Westfield StateWestfield State QB Gabriel Fernandez throws a quick pass over the middle to Anthony Cintron who weaves through defenders before taking off down the sideline. When it looks like he will be tackled, he pumps the breaks avoiding the defender to finish the 72 yard touchdown run. |
Play No. 4 - Worcester StateWith only seconds in the game, Worcester State QB Aaron Moses-Williams rushes out of the pocket to his right and launches a hail Mary pass downfield where Ke'Vaughn Davis outleaps the defenders and get foot in the endzone for the game-winning touchdown catch in the Lancers' victory. |
