WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 11 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Wednesday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Bridgewater StateAs the Mass. Maritime running back took off with the ball, Bridgewater State's Steven Silvia caught the ball as it popped out of his hands then took off 44 yards for the fumble recovery and the score in the Bears' Cranberry Bowl victory. |
Play No. 2 - Fitchburg StateFitchburg State QB Joseph Haskins fields the snap and quickly sees his receiver Timothy O'Neill beating the defender by a step so he lobs the ball towards the endzone where O'Neill makes a stretched out catch for the Falcons' touchdown. |
