Fitchburg State's Cameron Stalters, Westfield State's William Canty, David Drigo and Worcester State's Justin Lewis qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship which will be held in La Crosse, Wisconsin from May 24-26.

Stalters earned his spot at Nationals in the javelin. His distance of 68.48 meters (224' 8") at the New England DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the third seed in this weekend's meet. This is his second straight trip to the outdoor championship. 

Drigo, who is also making his second apperance at the outdoor championship in the javelin comes in as the 18th seed. His throw of 60.47 meters (198' 5") was also achieved at the DIII New England Outdoor Championships.   The men's javelin will be contested at 11:00 AM (Central/12:00 PM Eastern) on Friday.

Canty will make his debut at the National Championship meet.  He set the Owls record for the decathlon with a score of 6,356 points at Holy Cross' multi events meet earlier this spring.  The men's decathlon begins on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. (central/11:00 a.m. Eastern) and continues throughout the day.  Day 2 events begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and conclude at 5:45 p.m. with the 1,500 meters.

Lewis posted a season best height of 2.12m (6' 11.5") at the DIII New England Outdoor Championships in the high jump and was tabbed the Division III New England, All New England (NEICAAA) and the MASCAC/Alliance high jump champion. He currently stands at second in the nation with the marking going into the weekend. The high jump will be competing on Friday (May 25) at 11 a.m.
