The Westfield State duo of Jill Valley and Chelsea Moussette are the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after helping the Owls to the MASCAC Tournament Championship Saturday.

Valley was named MVP of the MASCAC Tournament after averaging 30 points, six rebounds, five steals, 2.5 assists and two blocks per game while helping the Owls to their second straight tournament title. Scored 39 points with five rebounds, five assists and two steals in the 97-95 double-overtime semifinal win over Bridgewater State. Netted 21 points and added seven rebounds, five steals, three assists and two steals in the 83-74 championship game victory over Framingham State.

Moussette averaged 4.5 assists, three points and 1.5 rebounds to help the Owls to back-to-back MASCAC Tournament titles. Finished with five points, four assists and two rebounds in the championship game victory.
