Framingham State's Grace Gamache and Westfield State's Maria Woodall were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Berkshire All-Region Second Team as announced by the organization.
Gamache, the 2017 MASCAC Rookie of the Year and two time All-MASCAC first team honoree led the MASCAC in scoring in 2018 with 111 points. Gamache tallied 55 goals, including the 100th of her career, and 56 assists on the year to go along with 114 draw controls.
Woodall was previously named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference's Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference honoree. She finished with a 9.06 Goals-Against Average and a .535 save percentage, while making a school-record 198 saves.
She led the Owls to an 18-3 overall record, MASCAC regular season and tournament titles and to a first-round win in the NCAA tournament.
The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2018. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team which will be announced in mid-June.
