MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Report 2/4

Track Athlete of the Week

Broke her own school record (twice) and garnered All-New England honors with a sixth-place finish in the 60m hurdles this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Center. Posted a preliminary time of 8.82 to break her previous school mark of 8.86 and advance to the semifinals. After recording semifinal time of 8.90, notched a finals time of 8.80 to re-break her own record. The only Division III student-athlete to compete in the event at the championships, currently ranks second in all of Division III in the hurdles.

Won a pair of events at Saturday’s Wesleyan Invitational. Won the triple jump with a distance of 10.42m, as well as the 60m dash with a time of 8.06.

Rookie of the Week

Ryann Molinari

Freshman • Grafton, Mass.

Finished in second place in the 1000m run on Saturday afternoon at the Wesleyan Invitational with a run of 3:16.95. Ran the second leg in the 4x800m run, which finished with a time of 10:47.55.
