Captured the national title in the 60m hurdles this past weekend at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Center. Posted a winning and schoolrecord time of 8.68 in the hurdles finals on Saturday as she edged junior Favor Ezewuzie of Wheaton College (Ill.) and sophomore Caira Watson-Haynes of Washington University. Ezewuzie (8.69) and Watson-Haynes (8.69) placed second and third, respectively. Broke her previous school mark of 8.70 recorded at Friday’s preliminaries. Becomes the second NCAA national champion in BSU history as she joins former track & field standout Chris Perry. Perry captured the national title in the triple jump at the 2015 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles six times this season.
