Bridgewater State, Westfield State Seek Repeat Titles at 2025 MASCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships

The spring championship season kicks off on Friday, April 25 with the MASCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Bridgewater State.
The field events get the meet underway at 11 am with the men's shot put while the track events kick off at 12 pm with the 10,000 meters. Throughout the day, awards will be given to the top individuals and relays in each gender with the top teams on each side awarded at the end of the day.
At last year's outdoor championship, Bridgewater State men's team won their sixth straight title with 269 points to win the title over second place finisher Westfield State with 174. Landing in third was Fitchburg State with 97 while Worcester State and Mass. Maritime rounded out the team scores in fifth and sixth, respectively with 59 and 11 points.
For the women's championship, Westfield State completed the trifecta MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship, cross country and indoor track and field titles. The Owls finished with 201 points over second place team Bridgewater State with 175. Coming in third was Worcester State with 94 with Fitchburg State in fourth with 77 and Framingham State in fifth with 63.
