38 MASCAC Student-Athletes Recognized on the 2026 Winter Sportsmanship Teams
38 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2026 Winter Sportsmanship Team.

WESTFIELD, Mass. – 38 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2026 Winter Sportsmanship Team.
The MASCAC Sportsmanship Team is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team, in every sport that best demonstrates the values of the MASCAC and its Sportsmanship Statement, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.
“I want to extend my congratulations to the 38 MASCAC student-athletes selected for the 2026 MASCAC Winter Sportsmanship Team,” said MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann. “Each of these individuals exemplified the core values of both the MASCAC and the NCAA, demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship on and off the field throughout conference competition.”
The sports that are represented on the winter team are men’s and women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey and women’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s indoor track and field. A student-athlete from each institution is selected by their coach to be placed on the Sportsmanship Team.
Starting off this year’s sportsmanship teams is men’s basketball. Reed Connolly of Anna Maria, Louis Jennings of Bridgewater State, Nicolas Von Zboray of Fitchburg State, Korbin Gann of Framingham State, Colby Burleson of MCLA, Juan Beltres Diaz of Salem State, Keith Mency of Westfield State and Jack Lasbury-Casey of Worcester State are the honorees.
For women’s basketball, Tiffany Salazar of Anna Maria, Bridgitt O’Sullivan-Van Etten of Bridgewater State, Madison Dawkins of Fitchburg State, Bridget Trainor of Framingham State, Abigail Scialabba of MCLA, Maria Orfanos of Salem State, Alani Botas of Westfield State and Mia Haynes of Worcester State earn sportsmanship team honors.
Skating their way onto the Men’s Ice Hockey Sportsmanship Team are Max Pelletier of Anna Maria, Max Macchioni of Fitchburg State, Jerry Duckett of Framingham State, Easton Moore of MCLA, Tyler Sitnikov of Rivier, Hunter Thomas of Salem State, Tom Reilly of Westfield State and Shane Prifrel of Worcester State.
Landing on the women’s ice hockey sportsmanship team are Alexandra Peterson of Anna Maria, Jamie Webster of Framingham State, Isabelle Wurmser of MCLA, Amy Thul of Salem State, Molly Dukesherer of Rivier and Olivia Fehl of Worcester State.
Joseph Garell of Bridgewater State, Sam Edwards of Fitchburg State, Jace Falcone of Westfield State and Alex Matasuyasu of Worcester State are the Men’s Indoor Track and Field Sportsmanship Team award recipients.
Wrapping up the winter sportsmanship team honorees is the Women’s Indoor Track and Field Team with Savana Malo of Bridgewater State, Dehkontee Cooper of Fitchburg State, Eliza Lee of Westfield State and Kelsey Gendreau of Worcester State.
