Mass. Maritime's Sullo, Fitchburg State's Atkinson, Stalters Earn ECAC DIII New England Weekly Honors
Massachusetts Maritime's Logan Sullo along with Fitchburg State's Molly Atkinson and Cameron Stalters received Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England weekly honors as announced by the conference this week.

Massachusetts Maritime's Logan Sullo along with Fitchburg State's Molly Atkinson and Cameron Stalters received Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England weekly honors as announced by the conference this week.
Sullo was named the ECAC DIII New England Baseball Athlete of the Week while Atkinson and Stalters were the Rookie of the Week for women's and men's outdoor track and field, respectively. Earlier this week, Sullo was named Co-MASCAC Player of the Week while Atkinson and Stalters received the same accolade from the conference.
Sullo batted .636 (7-11) with a double, two triples, two homers, three RBI and six runs scored in a 2-1 week for the Buccaneers. The sophomore ripped a double and triple in the 6-4 win over Becker College to go with the game-winning solo home run in 5-4 triumph over Newbury College. Sullo ended the week with a 667 on-base percentage and 1.636 slugging percentage.
Stalters took top honors in the 110m hurdles with an ECAC qualifying time of 15.72 seconds, while adding a second place effort in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying throw of 53.49m (175’ 6”) at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite.
Atkinson placed second overall in the javelin with an Open New England qualifying mark of 38.97m (127’ 10”) to set a new school record in the process. She also added a seventh-place finish in the discus with a toss of 28.08m (92’ 1”) at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite.
