D3Baseball.Com All-Region Team | ABCA | NEIBA 

Sean Buckland and Richard Fecteau of Salem State were named to the D3baseball.com, American Baseball Coaches Association and the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association All-New England Teams. Teammate Mike Davis joined them on the ABCA squad.

Fecteau, a two-time D3baseball.com pre-season All-American, led Salem State to back-to-back MASCAC championships, while helping the Vikings earn an NCAA bid for the third time in four years. The all-time hits leader in Salem State history batted .418 during the regular season and led the conference in hits (64) and runs (44). 

Buckland, the MASCAC Pitcher of the Year, was the anchor of the staff for the Vikings. The lefty finished in the top 10 in wins in the country after going 9-0 this season, one of only three pitcher to finish undefeated with at least nine starts. Buckland was 18-2 over the past three seasons with 14 complete games. Buckland picked up his 10th win of the season after leading Salem State to a 7-4 win over top seed Wheaton College in the opening round of the NCAA New England Regional. 

Davis, a MASCAC All-Conference honoree, joined Buckland and Fecteau on the ABCA All-New England Region team. The senior from Peabody, Mass. closed out his final year with the Vikings hitting .315 with a .576 slugging percentage while also tallying 32 RBI, 10 home runs, 18 doubles and 58 total hits. 

The Vikings closed out their season with a trip to the NCAA Division III New England baseball regional after winning their third MASCAC Tournament crown in four years and the regular season crown.
