Bridgewater State's Randy Frazier, Sean Casey and Fitchburg State's Ryan Towle are the first MASCAC Baseball Player, Rookie and Pitcher of the Week honorees of the season.

Frazier batted .533 (8-15) in four games last week with two doubles, a triple, a stolen base, eight RBI and five runs scored. Also walked twice and was hit by a pitch as he posted a .579 on base percentage as well as a .800 slugging percentage. Went 6-for-10 with two doubles, a triple, four runs and seven RBI in a season-opening doubleheader split with The Apprentice School. Also went 2-for-7 with a walk, stolen base, a run and an RBI in a doubleheader split with Hilbert College. |

Ryan Towle Fitchburg State Freshman • P • Westfield, Mass. Towle posted an ERA of 0.00 with six strikeouts, while allowing just three hits in five innings of relief to pick up his first collegiate victory in a 10-0 season opening win over Anna Maria College.

Casey batted .533 (8-15) with a walk, five runs and four RBI in three games for the Bears last week. Also posted a .563 on base percentage. Went 6-for-12 with five runs and four RBI in a season-opening doubleheader split with The Apprentice School. Also went 2-for-3 with a walk in a 7-3 setback to Hilbert College. |
