AJ Pietrafesa of Mass. Maritime has earned a spot on the 2025 Association of Baseball Coaches (ABCA) Region 2 All-Defensive Team.

The first baseman from Harwinton, Conn. had an outstanding season for the Buccaneers which culminated in a spot on the MASCAC All-Conference team for the third time in his career. During the 2025 season, he committed just two errors in 264 total chances, helped turn 16 double plays, and posted a .992 fielding percentage.

Offensively, he batted .341 during the regular season this year and posted a .445 on-base percentage. He drove in 16 runs, walked 20 times, hit three doubles, had 44 hits, and scored a career-best 31 times.
