Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Silva Framingham State
Sophmore • Quarterback • Dracut, Mass.
Silva finished with 308 yards and four touchdowns in the
Rams’ 58-12 win over Massachusetts Maritime. Tossed
touchdowns of 10, 54, 19 and 28 yards while playing only the first
half and opening drive of the second.
Talib Barksdale Fitchburg State
Junior • Linebacker • Hudson, N.Y.
Barksdale totaled a game-high 12 tackles with six solo stops
and six assists, while also posting 0.5 tackle for loss in a 26-23
victory over Westfield State.
Josh Morgan Plymouth State
Senior • Linebacker • Foster, R.I.
Morgan blocked two kicks, a punt that was recovered on the
two yard line and later ran in for a touchdown and extra point
attempt to maintain the lead, in the Panthers’ 34-31 win over
Worcester State.
