Western Connecticut State to Play at St. John Fisher in ECAC Northwest Bowl
The Western Connecticut State University football team, fresh off a 7-3 regular season, will face St. John Fisher College for the ECAC Division III Northwest Bowl title on Saturday, November 22 at Growney Stadium in Rochester, NY. Game time is set for 12 noon.

DANBURY, CT - The Western Connecticut State University football team, fresh off a 7-3 regular season, will face St. John Fisher College for the ECAC Division III Northwest Bowl title on Saturday, November 22 at Growney Stadium in Rochester, NY. Game time is set for 12 noon.
The Colonials are coming off a 43-28 victory over Westfield State University last Friday. They finished second in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference behind Framingham State University.
The Rams (9-1) will host Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (6-4) on Saturday for the a chance at the ECAC North Atlantic crown.
The MASCAC regular-season champion will begin earning an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships in 2015.
Western captured the 2013 ECAC Northeast Bowl championship last November with a 48-35 victory at Salve Regina University.
St. John Fisher is coming off a 34-12 win over Alfred University on Saturday. The Cardinals captured a share of the Empire 8 title with Ithaca College at 6-2. The Bombers were invited to the NCAA Division III Championship and will face Hobart College on Saturday.
