For the first time this season, the Worcester State Lancers football team has earned the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week award after garnering the most votes over the two day voting period.

Out of the four nominees, the Lancers received the highest percentage of the votes with 51 percent. Coming in second was UMass Dartmouth with 34 while Plymouth State and Westfield State joined the two as fellow nominees. 

In the week 7 winning play, Worcester State quarterback Trevor Vasey throws a short pass to Derek Moore who races across the field and down the sideline where it looks like he will be taken down only to break three tackles and run it in for the 60 yard score. Check out video of the play below.
