Bridgewater State Earns First MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week Accolade of the Season
For the first time this season, the Bridgewater State Bears earn the most votes in the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week poll which features four plays from the previous weekend's contests.
For the first time this season, the Bridgewater State Bears earn the most votes in the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week poll which features four plays from the previous weekend's contests.
Bridgewater State jumped out to an early lead on Monday afternoon when the poll was first released. The Bears ended up with 48 percent of the votes, fending off Plymouth State who was close behind in second with 34 percent. Framingham State and Worcester joined the two squads as nominees for this week's poll.
In the week 10 winning play, Bridgewater State's Malik Garrett lines up behind the center and fields the snap. He fakes the hand off to his teammate then scampers down field 50 yards for the touchdown. Check out video of the play below.
