For the second time this season, Fitchburg State has earned the most votes in the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week voting which consists of four nominees from plays over the weekend which the public can vote as their favorite.

Fitchburg State claimed the most votes this week by a very slim margin over four-time winner UMass Dartmouth. The Falcons finished with 40 percent of the overall vote while the Corsairs had 33 percent. Joining the two squads with nominated plays this week were Plymouth State and Worcester State.

In this week's winning play, Fitchburg State quarterback Connor Fitzsimmons steps back and floats one to the back of the end zone where Herbert Acosta leaps up and snatches the ball away from a defender for the touchdown. Check out video of the play below.
