Framingham State's Wojenski and Wright Earn MASCAC Football Weekly Honors
Sophomore running back Quron Wright has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week and freshman quarterback Adam Wojenski has been selected the MASCAC Football Rookie of the Week for the week of October 22nd.
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore running back Quron Wright (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week and freshman quarterback Adam Wojenski (Stratford, Conn.) has been selected the MASCAC Football Rookie of the Week for the week of October 22nd.
Wright earns his first offensive player of the week honor this season after rushing for 175 yards on 22 carries with four touchdowns in a 41-7 win over Plymouth State. Wright averaged 8.0 yards per rush and scored on runs of 5, 1, 56 and 7 yards.
Wojenski repeats as rookie of the week after completing 15-of-22 pass attempts (68.2%) for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory over Plymouth State.
