Mike Slaughter Jr. UMass Dartmouth
Junior • Running Back • Springfield, Mass.
Slaughter rushed for a career-high 150 yards on 13 rushes (11.5 yards averaged) with two touchdowns, including one for 92 yards in the Corsairs’ 35-34 overtime win over Framingham State.
Stephen Jacobs
Bridgewater State
Senior • Line Backer • Tyngsboro, Mass.
Jacobs forced a fumble in the end zone which resulted in a fumble recovery for a touchdown with nine tackles (eight solo), including two for a loss in the Bears’ 20-14 win at Western Connecticut State. Also blocked a field goal in the victory.
Napoleon Miller Framingham State
Sophomore • Return Specialist • Boston, Mass.
Miller returned a punt a school record 90 yards for a touchdown in the final seconds of the fourth quarter to force overtime in the Rams’ 35-34 setback to UMass Dartmouth.
Zach Ziemba Plymouth State
Senior • Defensive Back• Manchester, N.H.
Ziemba blocked a punt that was recovered in the end zone for a touchdown for the Panthers only points in regulation in the 14-13 overtime setback to Westfield State. On defense, he tallied 12 tackles (a team-high nine solo) and an interception.
Garvey netted 102 yards on seven receptions with a touchdown in the Owls’ 14-13 overtime win over Plymouth State. Scored the Owls only points of regulation with the 52 yard catch for the score.
