Jake Cassidy
Westfield State
Sophomore • Quarterback • Lynn, Mass.
Cassidy rushed for a career-high 119 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown and passed for 99 yards and two touchdowns in the Owls’ 33-21 win over Fitchburg State. Averaged 7.9 yards per carry with a 37-yard rushing score while throwing touchdown passes of nine and 12 yards in the win.
Jonathan Marrero
Bridgewater State
Senior • Cornerback • Boston, Mass.
Marrero forced all three turnovers in the Bears’ 24-22 win on the road over UMass Dartmouth. Notched two interceptions and forced and recovered a fumble. Also broke up a pass and recorded a pair of solo tackles. The Bears scored 10 points off his three forced turnovers as his two interceptions led to a touchdown and a field goal. His first interception came in the end zone for a touchback.
Russell Bolarinho
Bridgewater State
Senior • Kicker • Achushnet, Mass.
Bolarinho made a 26-yard field goal and converted all three of his point after tries in the Bears’ 24-22 win on the road over UMass Dartmouth. Averaged 49.6 yards on five kickoffs.
George Lampros
Massachusetts Maritime
Freshman • Punter/Kicker • Bridgewater, Mass.
Lampros converted all three PAT attempts, averaged 53 yards on four kickoffs and 39 yards on four punts in the Buccaneers’ 28-21 setback at Western Connecticut.
