For the first time this season, Western Connecticut State took home the top spot after receiving the most votes in the MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week voting.

The Colonials shot out of the gate with voting on Monday and never looked back. In this week's poll, they collected 61 percent of the votes over Bridgewater State to finished with 23 percent. Framingham State and Westfield State were also nominees.

In this week's winning play, WCSU's Tom Balacki, under pressure, scampers out of the pocket, downfield before launching a pass to receiver Nick Kimball who beats the defender for the 34 yard touchdown in the Colonials' win.
