After receiving MASCAC honors as a kicker and punter, George Lampros has been named D3Football.com All-American.
Lampros earned a spot on the first team as a kicker. Earlier in the month, he was named a D3football.com All-Region honoree which put him on the ballot for All-American honors.
A second-year captain for the Buccaneers, Lampros finished the 2021 season perfect on field goals and extra points for Maritime. George made all nine of his field goal attempts on the season, the most attempts of his career and the most converted of his career. In a 22-20 win over WestConn, Lampros made five field goals, including a 46 yarder that not only won the game but is Lampros's career-long and a program record-long. He also converted all 18 of his extra point attempts on the season.
In November, Lampros earned MASCAC accolades when he was named to the first team as a kicker and second team as a punter. This is the second time he was named to the teams as a punter and kicker.
