WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 7 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Wednesday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Mass. MaritimeMass. Maritime QB Marc Murphy pitches the ball to Ja'iel Johnson who weaves through the defenders on the far sideline. He then breaks free with at least a five yard headstart downfield for the 75 score in the Buccaneers' victory. |
Play No. 2 - UMass DartmouthDante Aviles-Santos hands it off to Richarno Hylton who uses some solid blocking by his teammates to create a path down the sideline then takes it 45 yards for the touchdown in the Corsairs' win. |

Play No. 3 - WestConnAs the Framingham State QB drops back to pass, WestConn's Luke Pappalardo is in the right place at the right time to intercept the pass. He then heads towards the endzone with some help from his teammates down the stretch to score the succesful 51 yard touchdown in the Wolves' win. |
Play No. 4 - Westfield StateWestfield State QB Colby Pires drops back in the pocket and finds Dylan Disabella wide open. Disabella makes a move towards the endzone with the defense closing in. Disabella then leaps into the air making an aerobatic dive into the endzone for the 20 yard touchdown. |
