MASCAC Football Weekly Awards 10/15
WestConn's duo of Keion Jones and Dae'Shawn Allen along with the Westfield State duo of Cade Nelson and Cooper Harvey take home the MASCAC Offensive, Rookie, Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

Offensive Player of the Week |
| Jones threw for 462 yards and five touchdowns while adding another rushing score in WestConn’s 56-34 victory at Framingham State. Jones was 17 for 36 and tossed scoring passes of 60, 48, 30, 28, and 45 yards while rushing it in from the one yard line against the Rams in his third career start at quarterback. |

Defensive Player of the Week |
| Nelson finished with 13 total tackles (five solo), a sack, 2.5 tackles for a loss and blocked an extra point try in the Owls’ 26-23 overtime setback to UMass Dartmouth. |

Special Teams Player of the Week |
| Harvey booted a 35-yard field goal in overtime, and added two extra points, including one that forced overtime in a 26-23 setback to UMass Dartmouth. His lone extra point miss came when backed up 15 yards due to a penalty. He also had an on-side kick that the Owls recovered to set up the game-tying drive. |

Rookie of the Week |
| Allen caught six passes for a career-high 211 yards and three touchdowns in WestConn’s 56-34 victory at Framingham State. Allen had scoring catches of 60, 48 and 45 yards and also returned a kickoff for 33 yards against the Rams. |
