Mekhi Wilson of UMass Dartmouth, Jackson Mahoney of Mass. Maritime, Ty Kelley and Michael Marcucella of Framingham State take home the MASCAC Football Offensive, Defensive, Special Teams and Rookie of the Week awards.

Wilson posted a career-high 218 yards on 23 carries with five rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown to account for all six Corsair touchdowns in a 42-21 upset win over Plymouth State on Saturday. Wilson eclipsed the single season record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 18, surpassing the previous mark of 16 set by J.T. Harold in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He also amassed five rushing touchdowns for the second time this season, once again tying the single-game record set by Harold in 2007. Had rushing scores of 10-yards (x2), 9-yards, 1-yard and 6-yards, along with a 12-yard catch. |

Defensive Player of the Week |

Mahoney recorded 10 total tackles, nine solo, with two sacks, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and a QB hurry in the Buccaneers’ 20-7 Cranberry Bowl win over Bridgewater State on Saturday. He had a sack on the final drive by Bridgewater that sealed the game for the Buccaneers, forcing a fourth down. After the game, Mahoney was named the 46th Annual Cranberry Bowl Lee Harrington MVP for his performance. |

Kelley went 4 for 4 on extra points, including the game-winning extra point with no time on the clock in the Rams’ 28-27 win over Worcester State to help the team clinch a share of the MASCAC Regular Season title and a spot in the NCAA Tournament. |
