Framingham State senior quarterback Bruce Rich received the Division II-III Gold Helmet Award from the New England Football Writers on Wednesday afternoon after throwing for 361 yards and four touchdowns in the Rams' 42-38 win over MIT.

Rich was named as the New England Football Conference's Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks for his efforts.
