Men's Basketball Weekly Award Winners 2/16

Michael Lofton of Bridgewater State and Daniel Gould of Framingham State have been named the men's basketball weekly award winners for the week ending 2/16.

Lofton averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.5 blocked shots while shooting 70.4 percent (19-of-27) from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Bears. Tallied 29 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals in a 75-70 win over Worcester State. Capped off the week with 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three steals in an 86-62 win over Fitchburg State.

Gould averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists while shooting 53 percent from beyond the arc (9-of-17), including 15 points on 5-of-9 from the three point line and added six rebounds in the 91-67 loss to Salem State.
