Fitchburg State's Bell, Salem State's Faison Named to D3Hoops.com All-Northeast Region Team

Jaleel Bell of Fitchburg State and Marcus Faison of Salem State have been named to the D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region Team as announced by the organization yesterday.
Bell, the 2016 MASCAC Player of the Year, was named to the first team while Faison received fourth team honors.
Bell, a junior from Dorchester, Mass., helped lead the Falcons to the top seed in the MASCAC Tournament and a share of the MASCAC Regular Season Title. He finished second in the conference in points per game (17) and steals (46) while also being third in free-throw percentage (78.8). During the regular season, he was named the MASCAC Player of the Week three times. This is his first time voted as a member of the All-Conference team.
Faison, an All-MASCAC First Team selection finished the regular season second in the MASCAC and third nationally in rebounding, averaging 12.6 boards per game, and third in the league in scoring (15.8 ppg). Faison was also among the MASCAC league leaders in field goal percentage (58.5%) and led in defensive rebounds. (113). Faison set a school record with 20 double-doubles, which was second nationally.
