Shaquan Murray of Salem State and Alex Santos of Worcester State have been named the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week.

Shaquan Murray Murray averaged 23.5 points on 47.4 percent (9-19) shooting with 2.5 steals and two rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Vikings. Tallied 23 points on 8-15 (53 percent) shooting from the field and added two steals in a 96-72 victory over MCLA. Scored 24 points with three steals, three rebounds and an assist in the 88-83 setback to Worcester State.

Santos netted 19 points, five rebounds and three assists in the Lancers’ 88-83 victory over Salem State. Shot 40 percent from beyond the arc and was 7-for-8 at the free throw line in the win. |
