Marcus Faison of Salem State and Tyri Hampton of Framingham State take home the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week accolades. This is the third of the season for Faison and first for Hampton.

Marcus Faison Faison averaged 17.5 points on 14-of-27 (51.9%) shooting and 11.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Recorded back-to-back double-doubles, notching 17 points and 13 rebounds in a 63-54 win over Framingham State and following up with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 103-84 victory at Worcester State.

Hampton averaged 11 points and two rebounds while shooting 76% (10-13) in a 1-1 week for the Rams, including 12 points and two rebounds in the 76-73 win over Bridgewater State and 10 points, two rebounds and a steal in the setback to Salem State. |
