The Salem State duo of Marcus Faison and Sean Bryan earn the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after helping their team to a 2-0 record last week.

Marcus Faison Faison averaged 20 points on 16-33 (48.5%) shooting, 17 rebounds and three assists in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Scored 24 points while shooting 52.6% (10-19) from the field with 21 rebounds and six assists in a 91-84 win over Worcester State. Followed up with 16 points and 13 boards in an 81-62 win over MCLA.

Bryan averaged 15.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in a 2-0 week for the Vikings. Knocked in 21 points on 6-of-8 shooting and three rebounds in a 91-84 win over Worcester State and scored 10 points in an 81-62 victory over MCLA. |
