| Bryan earned Tournament MVP honors at the Babson Invitational, averaging 29.5 points on 42.1% shooting (16-18), including 23-26 from the line and eight boards and five assists in a 1-1 week for the Vikings. Scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds with six assists in a 94-81 loss to Suffolk University and added 32 points going 7-15 (46.7%) and 16-of-17 from the line with seven rebounds and four assists in an 89-76 win over Anna Maria College. |
Rookie of the Week
Quentin Gittens
Freshman, Guard, Pittsfield, Mass.
Gittens averaged 8.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in a 1-1 week
for the Trailblazers. Scored 10 points with nine rebounds and two steals in the
77-63 win over NVU-Johnson and then added seven points and six rebounds in
the 95-88 setback to NVU-Lyndon. Was 7-13 (54%) from the floor on the week.
