The Bridgewater State duo of Tim Alzamora and Robson Montrond grab the first MASCAC Men's Soccer Player and Rookie of the Week accolades of the season.

Alzamora tallied his first collegiate goal and added an assist for three points while also anchoring the Bears' back line in a 2-0 week for the Bears. Recorded an assist and headed home what proved to be the game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Western New England University. In the Bears' 2-1 win over UMass Boston, the defense limited the Beacons to just five shots on goal.
