Kevin McBirney of Bridgewater State along with Cameron Monette and Paulino Guevara Mateo of Fitchburg State take home the MASCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field weekly awards.

McBirney broke his own school record in the 800-meter run this past weekend at the Saucony Battle For Boston held at Boston University. Finished 14th in the event with a time of 1:51.02 as he eclipsed his previous indoor standard of 1:51.79 established earlier this season at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic. The meet featured predominantly Division I and track club athletes. Currently ranks seventh in all of Division III in the 800 and second in the East Region. |
