MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 4/28
Matthew Mooney of Bridgewater State along with Paulino Guevara Mateo and Liam Bourassa of Fitchburg State take home the MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field weekly awards after winning titles at the MASCAC Outdoor Championship Saturday.

Mooney captured the MASCAC individual title in the 100-meter dash with a time of 22.05 seconds and ran a leg on the conference champion 4x100-meter relay team which posted a time of 42.58 seconds this past week at the MASCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Fitchburg State. Also placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.05 seconds as he helped the Bears capture their eighth straight MASCAC outdoor title and 11th overall. |

Guevara Mateo placed first overall in the 1500 meter with a DIII New England qualifying and PR time of 3:57.14, while finishing second overall in the 800 meter with a PR time of 1:56.87. Concluded the day, taking top honors in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:40.50 for the Falcons at the 2026 MASCAC Championships on Saturday. Weekly Report 4/28 |

Bourassa placed first overall in hammer throw with an All-New England qualifying toss of 58.81 meters as well taking top honors in discus with an All-NE qualifying throw of 45.90 meters. Added a first place effort in the javelin with an All-NE qualifying throw of 69.24 meters before finishing first overall in the shotput with an All New England qualifying and new school record throw of 15.84 meters for the Falcons at the 2026 MASCAC Championships on Saturday.
