Maddy Atkocaitis Westfield State Freshman • 3B • Westfield, Mass. Atkocaitis batted .667 (10-15) with a double, four triples, two home runs with eight runs scored and 10 RBI with a 1.667 slugging percentage and .706 on-base percentage in a 5-1 week for the Owls, including 4-for-7 with two triples and a home run while adding three runs in the doubleheader sweep of Fitchburg State and 2-for-4 with a double and triple with a run scored and an RBI in the doubleheader split with Worcester State.

Rich went 5-1 with a 0.88 earned run average which includes 15 strikeouts in 40 innings. Tossed a pair of 3-0 and 2-0 shutouts in a doubleheader sweep of Salem State before closing out the week by blanking MCLA, 3-0 and 1-0, to help the Lancers claim the MASCAC regular season title.

Black pitched two shutouts this week and had a 0.35 ERA with a 2-1 record for the Vikings, allowing just one earned run in 21 innings pitched. Threw three complete games, including a five-hit shutout, in a 1-0 win over Fitchburg State and followed up with a 3-0 victory over MCLA extending her scoreless innings streak to 18. |
