Gouin batted .533 (8-15) with a double, triple, home run, two runs scored and four RBI and .933 slugging percentage in a 4-2 week for the Owls. Went 4-for-6 with a double, triple and RBI in the doubleheader sweep of Framingham State. Went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the doubleheader split with Keene State College.

Galen Kerr Fitchburg State Junior • P • Concord, Conn. Kerr posted an ERA of 0.61 with 26 strikeouts, while posting a 3-1 record in 23 innings. Allowed just one hit with 11 strikeouts in a 2-0 shutout game one win over Curry College before giving up just five hits in a complete game, 2-0 shut out win with seven strikeouts against Plymouth State University. Threw a complete game shutout allowing just four hits with five strikeouts in a 3-0 triumph against MCLA.

Sylvestre posted an ERA of 1.07 with 23 strikeouts in 19.2 innings of work for Falcons. Allowed just two runs with nine strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work in a no decision against Curry College before giving up just one run on five hits and five strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Plymouth State University. Allowed one unearned run on three hits with nine strikeouts as in the 1-0 setback against MCLA. |
