The Framingham State trio of Anna Dziok, Jessica Pietersen and Kyla Johnson are the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week award winners.

Dziok batted .412 (7-for-17) with two home runs, two doubles, two RBI, two walks and six runs scored in a 5-1 week for the Rams. Went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run and three runs scored in the 6-2 win over Fitchburg State. Went 3-for-6 with a double, home run, RBI, walk and a run scored in the doubleheader 1-0, 7-3 sweep of New England College. Registered a slugging percentage of .882 and on-base percentage of .500 to close out the week.

Jessica Pietersen Framingham State Junior • P • Norton, Mass. Pietersen went 3-0 in the circle for the Rams going the distance in all three of her appearances allowing 11 hits and three earned runs over 21 innings. Threw a complete game two-hit shutout in a 3-0 win over Fitchburg State. Allowed just three hits and two runs over seven innings in a 9-2 win at Johnson & Wales University. Gave up six hits, three runs (one earned) in the 7-3 win over New England College. Also batted .417 (5-of-12) with two doubles and two RBI. |

Johnson batted .353 (6-for-17) with three run scored, two stolen bases and two RBI in a 5-1 week for the Rams. Went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and a run scored in a 7-3 win over New England College. Collected three hits and two runs scored in a doubleheader split at Johnson & Wales University. Went 1-for-2 with a walk in the 6-2 win over Fitchburg State. |
