Despres batted .412 (7-17) with five doubles, four RBI, five walks and six runs scored with a .545 on base percentage and a .706 slugging percentage in a 6-0 week for the Lancers. Went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, four walks, and an RBI in the sweep of Fitchburg State. Went 3-for-6 with two runs, a double and a walk in the doubleheader shutout of Clark University and went 2-for-7 with a run, two doubles and three RBI in the two game sweep of MCLA.

Kathleen Bailey Bridgewater State Senior • P • Bayport, N.Y. Bailey went 2-1 with two complete games, a shutout, 14 strikeouts and a 1.62 ERA in three appearances for the Bears last week.Tossed a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Framingham State. Tossed five scoreless innings with four hits and six strikeouts in the victory over Massachusetts Maritime.
