After winning the MASCAC Softball Tournament, Kelsi Gunarathne and Mycala Moody are the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week honorees.

Kelsi Gunarathne Framingham State Sophomore • P • N. Providence, R.I. Gunarathne earned Tournament MVP honors after going 3-0 with three complete games, 1.00 ERA, allowing 15 hits, three earned runs and 14 strikeouts while leading the Rams to the MASCAC Tournament title. Threw a complete game one hit shutout with four strikeouts in the 1-0 semifinal win over Salem State. Went the distance again in the 5-4 championship game win, allowing nine hits and three earned runs while tallying seven strikeouts.

Moody batted .231 (3-13) with four walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in a 4-1 week for the Rams on their way to the MASCAC Tournament title. Went 1-for-3 with a single and the game-winning run scored in the 5-4 championship game win over Westfield State. |
