The Framingham State duo of Dayna Marchant and Grace Caughey take home MASCAC Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week while Bridgewater State's Madison Synan is the Rookie of the Week.

Dayna Marchant
Framingham State

Marchant batted .800 (8-10) with a double, two triples, two RBI, two walks and six runs scored with a 1.300 slugging percentage and .857 on-base percentage in a 1-3 week for the Rams. Went 5-for-6 with a double, triple, two RBI, three runs scored and a walk in the doubleheader split with Westfield State. Went 3-for-4 with a triple, two walks and three runs scored in the doubleheader setback to UMass Boston.
Grace Caughey
Framingham State
Freshman • P/IF • Menden, Mass.
In three appearances, Caughey went 1-1 with a 3.82 ERA, allowing 14 hits, six earned runs with four strikeouts. Tossed a complete game shutout in the 2-0 game two win over Westfield State, going seven innings and allowing just three hits with three strikeouts. Went 2 1/3 innings with five hits, two earned runs and a strikeout in the 7-6 setback to UMass Boston.
Madison Synan
Bridgewater State
Freshman • C • Quincy, Mass.
Synan batted .500 (6-12) with a home run, two doubles, three runs scored and six RBI in four games for the Bears last week. Also posted a .571 on base percentage and a .917 slugging percentage. Went 4-for-6 with a home run, two doubles, three runs and four RBI in a pair of setbacks to UMass Dartmouth. Was 2-for-6 at the plate with a pair of walks, and two RBI in a pair of setbacks to Worcester State.
